Happy Women’s day! Today I share with you my Rector’s sermon from this morning. Reflection During these uncertain times, in a boat rocked by stormy weather, waves crashing into the boat, and strong winds threatening to overturn and sink us, being soaked to the bone in the pouring rain, not one of us are comfortable. Greetings in Christ! We are fast approaching the Day of Pentecost, in just one week, which will end the Season of Eastertide. And I find myself reflecting upon the texts from our readings from Ascension day, including tomorrow’s readings. For many, the lockdown has been a trying time for many reasons, and there is no end in sight. People are hungry, cold, sick, dying, lonely, depressed, losing jobs, struggling financially and this all includes the church communities.
